At a glance
| Input | Action | Output | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current enterprise freeze and selected evidence record | Select Download glossary slice | Artifact-specific meaning package as a JSON file | The workspace opens the current freeze; there is no baseline picker |
| Evidence record with an artifact | Select Open evidence on its row first | The slice targets that record's artifact | Without a selection, the first loaded record is used |
| Exported archive for the freeze | Bind the package to retained evidence | Archive reference and root hash in the slice | No archive means no slice |
| Indexed usage observations | Collect usages of the artifact revision | Relevant frozen term identities | A missing or partial usage index blocks the slice |
| Frozen approved meanings | Join each observed term | Full meanings used by the artifact | Candidate or missing meanings are rejected |
How it works
- Open Terminology Baseline and scroll to Enterprise evidence workspace.
- Select Export archive once for the current freeze, if no archive exists yet.
- Find the artifact in Frozen meanings and revisions.
- Select Open evidence on that row.
- Select Download glossary slice.
- Check the artifact, archive reference, counts, and slice hash in the downloaded file.
- Attach the slice to the required external handoff.
Example
A controlled procedure uses six approved terms. Its glossary slice contains those six frozen meanings and the matching usage observations. It excludes unrelated organization terms. The external document-control owner receives a smaller, artifact-bound package for review and reissue.
What this does not mean
A slice reflects deposited, indexed usage evidence in the current enterprise freeze. It can be incomplete when coverage or indexing is incomplete. Older freezes cannot be selected in the workspace. It does not replace the full glossary, certify the artifact, approve reissue, or execute signatures.
